Commercial Night Silent and Override

Night silent alarms are a good idea except in foggy weather. When fog lights are in use the side light must also be in use, muting the alarm when it is most needed. The override (green) lead is connected to the fog light overriding the mute.

AVR90TT Triple Tone Alarm

This unit was originally designed to suit the requirements of a specific fleet where trucks and fork trucks operated together.
The Triple Tone Alarm was specified for the trucks so any one in the vicinity could differentiate between the truck and the fork truck. This unit tone has been so successful that it has been specified by various vehicle manufactures also.

Talking alarms

AVR15C 12 - 24 volts

Talking alarms are becoming more and more popular, especially as they can be tailored to suit very specific applications.

They are widely used by many manufacturers to highlight specific dangers:

• Handbrake not applied
• Deck moving (for walking floor trailers)
• Arms raised (for skip loading vehicles)
• They can also advertise corporate names

We can programme any message in any language usually in a couple of days at a minimal cost. (Foreign language messages must be on CD Rom.) All other messages must be in writing to avoid mistakes. Once programmed repeat orders do not incur the programming charges.

These units are available with reduced volume to facilitate use in cab where in some cases there are too many buzzers and the driver/operator can confuse the cause of the problem. They can be fitted with any length of cable and connector.

Attack alarms

Specialist Attack Alarms

The use of these Alarms is sadly for society becoming more prevalent.

They are designed for cash carrying vehicles and public transport. They feature either male or female voices and have a very loud siren sound to attract initial attention then the spoken messages.



Typical messages are:
"Help, help please call the police driver under attack"
or
"Help help. Please call the police (company name) vehicle under attack."

Dual volume reverse alarm

AVR92DV
This unit has been designed for one of the largest fleets in the UK. Their problem was specific. One of their depots was in a built up area and health and safety issues compelled them to use reverse alarms at night. This caused problems with the local residents and the company could not find an alarm to satisfy all concerned. We were contacted, the exact problem explained and this is our solution.

We reduced the frequency (there by the travel pitch of the unit) and when the side lights were on the volume was noticeably reduced, giving warning to the immediate area where needed but not upsetting the residents. Tests proved successful. The health and safety and the local residents were all happy. Another Amber Valley success story. The green lead (when connected to the fog lamp) restores the volume to maximum.

Select reverse twice alarm

This unit was initially designed for countries where vehicle lights are on when the vehicle is in use. Night silent through the sidelights was permanently engaged.

This unit will mute if reverse gear is selected twice in quick succession. It eliminated the need to fit switches in the cab to activate or deactivate alarms and also the need for timer devices.
