CHARGE GUARD
Fit CHARGE GUARD and save TIME and MONEY When the engine in running the Charge Guard senses the voltage and allows the charge through the auxiliary battery. When the engine is switched off the Charge Guard senses the voltage drop and separates and isolates both batteries. This means that equipment powered from the auxiliary battery cannot drain the starting battery so there is always sufficient power in the starting battery to start the engine.
Why you need one.
With todays engine management systems and 'inteligent' alternators you cannot use the charging light on the dash as a swith, also you cannot jump start most new vehicles without the danger of damaging the engine ECU. This unit then becomes cost effective.
